WELCOME TO HOCKEY SCHOOL
The Training Camp Cup is an Elite youth hockey summer camp for Mites to Bantams that play at the NIHL Gold level or better. With little to no advertising, the Training Cup has become the most prestigious hockey tournament in all of Chicago youth summer hockey because it exposes youth hockey players to the same training as a National Hockey League training camp.
We started in 2011 and have been growing ever since. We have been engraving the names of the champions on the cup since 2014! We have grown and upgraded our camp these past years in ways that benefit everyone.
We test players speed on the ice and in the forty yard dash, as well as in the mile. We also have video sessions that show players the fundamentals, skills, and positioning of hockey.
All of the aforementioned items that we supply to the players are great, but the main reason that we have become the most popular camp in all of Chicagoland is because players play and compete for a very prestigious prize (The Cup!!)
Players that do not attain that goal of getting their name on the cup find it to be a goal that they want to continue to strive for and sign up the following year.

Owner, CEO, Commissioner of Training Camp Cup Coach Imes has done a fantastic job of developing youth hockey players, and winning many championships in the last eight years. His teams have won NIHL Elite and Gold Championships as well as two Central States Developmental Hockey League Championships, and four AHAI State Championships.
Coach Kacper is in his fourth year of coaching at the Training Camp Cup. He is entering his sophomore year at the University of Illinois where he plays for their ACHA D! Team. He played youth hockey at the Chicago Blues as well as Chicago Fury, and CYA Americans
Sam Holy has been coaching at the Training Camp Cup for four years. He is currently playing for the Pembroke Lumber Kings in the OPJHL. He has also played youth hockey for the Chicago Blues aTeam Illinois.
Level Of Competition
At the 2001 Bantam Training Camp Cup, 17 of the 44 players ended up playing Midget AAA in Chicago, and 36 of the 44 players played at the Central States level, or AAA.
Each individual player of the winning team gets their name engraved on the Training Camp Cup, as well as a T-Shirt that states Training Camp Cup Champion. That way a player can rub it in to his friends for an entire year. This motivates the players to work their hardest in every drill/game.
Youth players are exposed to the same summer training style as the professionals in the NHL.
Level Of Instruction
This demanding camp pushes, challenges and develops hockey players more than any other camp in the entire country. Players will be tested in the mile, 40-yard dash of the ice. On the ice, players will be tested in skating tests that are accurate to .003 seconds.
