Welcome to day three of the Peewee Training Camp Cup!

Today we are testing on the ice for our 50 foot top speed test, and the 80 foot acceleration test.  These tests are done with sonar devices that are accurate up to .003 of a second. It does tell the coaching staff how fast players are, and more importantly it lets players know if speed is something that they need to work on.

Team Building Results

White appeared to be making a comeback to make themselves a contender for the regular season title and the automatic bid to the championship game when they won the toilet bowl challenge and picked up point in doing so.  However, Blue won the Bull Ring Challenge, and appear to be in the driver’s seat for the automatic bye to the Championship Game.

Game #1  Black and Blue tie 4-4

Leading goal scorer of the tournament Alex Bogacz opened the scoring at 24:41. Bob MacPherson scored the first of his two goals in this game fifteen seconds later.  Composono and Bogacz scored for Black to make it a 3-1 game. Blue then scored consecutive goals by Bender and MacPherson to tie it up. Dominic Fosco scored what appeared to be the gaming winning goal with 4:21 left in the game on his back hand with a nice pass from Patrick Grzywacz.  The game was not over, and Black could not hold off the pressure from the Bender, Hextall, and Degembe line. Bender tied the game with 40 seconds left to play.

Game #2  Black beats White 9-2

This game go ugly very quickly.  Black scored the first three goals in the first ten minutes, and then the goals kept coming and coming.  It was break away after two on ones and oddman rushes against. White appear to be in disarray. Black got goals from Composono, Bogacz, Fosco,  and Rozanski. White had their goals scored by Kylie Amelkovich, and Paschen.

Game #3  Blue beats White 7-2

This was another very long game for White.  It started bad, and only got worse. Can they turn it around in two days time?  It looks like they are going to have win their way in to the Championship. Blue scored the first six goals of the game before White got goals from Krausfeldt and Papadopoulos.  Blue had goals from Vittorio, Bender, Hextall, Degembe.

Rosters are Frozen

The rosters were frozen at 12:00 am CST last night.  The biggest move was that White picked up Mason Shorter in order to shore up their defense.
